What the Ego Actually Is — and Why Fighting It Doesn't Work
The ego is not a monster. It is a thought, believed without examination. This episode explores the ego's structure, its primary strategies, and why the approach of fighting it almost always strengthens it.
Episode 8  ·  36 min

Q&A
Can I Awaken Without a Teacher? And Other Big Questions

Meeting the Emotional Body — A Somatic Practice

Teaching
Relationships as the Most Precise Spiritual Teacher You Have
Why the person who triggers you most reliably is also your most accurate teacher — and how to work with relational friction as a genuine practice rather than a problem to be managed or avoided.

Conversation
Healing, Trauma, and the Path — A Wide-Ranging Conversation

Non-Duality — What It Actually Means and Why It Matters
Stripping away the jargon: what non-duality actually points to, why it is not a belief system, and what genuinely shifts in a life when the teaching lands in direct recognition rather than concept.
Episode 13  ·  46 min

The Breath as Gateway — A Three-Minute Reset
Three minutes. One breath, fully felt. A practice so simple it seems insufficient — and yet practitioners report it as the most consistently reliable reset available in the midst of an ordinary day.

Teaching
Grief Is Not a Problem — It Is Love with Nowhere to Go
A compassionate, honest teaching on grief — not as a pathology to be treated or a stage to move through, but as a sacred act of loyalty to what we have loved. One of the most listened-to episodes.
Episode 15  ·  42 min

Q&A
On Anxiety, Fear, and the Spiritual Path

Into the Silence — A Sleep and Deep Rest Practice

Dark Night of the Soul — What It Is and How to Navigate It

About the Podcast

Why This Podcast

Most spiritual content is either too abstract to be useful or too simplified to be true. Uncommon Wisdom is neither. It is direct, honest, and grounded in the actual territory of a genuine spiritual life — including the parts that are not comfortable, the parts that do not resolve neatly, and the parts that take years to understand.

Each episode is a complete teaching in itself — something you can listen to once and return to. Some are extended transmissions. Some are short daily practices you can use immediately. Some are open Q&A sessions with students on the path. Some are conversations with practitioners who have lived the territory being discussed.

No spiritual background required. No particular belief system. Only the willingness to look honestly at what is actually present in your own direct experience — and the openness to discover that what you have been looking for was never somewhere else.
