Payment information is processed entirely by Stripe or PayPal — we do not store your card details on our servers.

We use your information for the following purposes, and no others:
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We do not use your information to build advertising profiles.
If you have subscribed to our newsletter, we will send you a weekly teaching transmission and occasional announcements about courses, events, and new offerings. Every email contains a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe at any time by writing to Maitreya@MaitreyaBuddha.com.
We use a third-party email service provider to manage and send these communications. Your email address is shared with this provider for that purpose only.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account or subscription is active, or as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. Purchase records are kept for seven years in accordance with standard accounting requirements. If you request deletion of your data, we will act on that request promptly — subject only to legal retention obligations.
Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable data protection law, including the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, object to or restrict certain processing, and data portability. Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We choose service providers that meet high standards of data protection.
